Niddrie Traders March 2017 update

Valentine’s Day 2017
Valentine’s Day was celebrated in Niddrie on Saturday 14 February. Roving entertainers distributed chocolates & flowers and helped spread romance
and good cheer on the day. Our special thanks go to the staff at Sires Menswear for their support to make Valentine’s Day a success.

Removal of large Robinia trees along Keilor Road
An update from Moonee Valley City Council on the removal and replacement of these trees.
The process of the removal of the trees will begin in May 2017, and should be completed with the replanting of standard fig trees by September 2017. We are all looking forward to the makeover of the streetscape along Keilor Road.

Christmas has come and gone very quickly.
Christmas in Niddrie was very successful. The colorful street performers and roving entertainers were enjoyed along the streets, interacting with the traders and the public. The live band played to an enthusiastic public. The mechanical surfboard and the Cash Grab machines were a huge hit.
Special thanks to our tireless traders who gave their support on the day
